Top Ten Tuesday: Top Book Topics
Top Ten Tuesday is a great meme created by Jamie at The Broke and the Bookish that combines top ten lists and books. She’s come up with a great list of weekly discussion topics and I hope you’ll join in the discussion by commenting on this post or some of the other ones (you can find the list of participating blogs in this week's Top Ten Tuesday post on her site).
So this week’s topic is Top Ten Words/Topics That Make Me Pick Up a Book.
Originally, I thought this was a really hard topic because I didn’t think there were any words or topics that would make me instantly pick up a book and at least look at the back cover blurb. However, a quick perusal of my books and my Goodreads shelves.

Today, I am super excited to bring you an interview with author Sandra Ulbrich Almazan who is here to talk about her latest novel, Twinned Universes. As you know, Sandra is a fellow BRoP member, so it makes my heart glad to pull her out of the background and into the limelight! :-)
Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Thought I'd LIke More/Less Than I Did
Stand back everyone – I’m attempting to participate in a meme!

So this week’s topic is Top Ten Books I Thought I’d Like More/Less Than I Did. To be entirely democratic, I am going to list five of each. zOMG this is fun and exciting...I'm all aquiver...okay, here we go:
Celebrating Bloggers 2013
I’m thrilled to be participating in the celebrating bloggers blog hop today. Since the release of Hereafter, I’ve had the pleasure to not only learn about this thing called book blogging, but to also meet many wonderful bloggers. I have found bloggers to be wonderfully supportive, and I have been overwhelmed by their generosity and kindness.
Now, one way I had planned to repay the kindness was nominating my favorite blogs for awards during the Book Blogger Twitter Con (yes, they now hold conferences via Twitter and it was AWESOME!) that happened last week.
Interview with A.W. Exley
The Blog Ring of Power Presents...
An Interview with Author A.W. Exley
Today, I am excited to bring you an interview with steampunk author, A.W. Exley, who is here to talk about her debut novel, "Nefertiti's Heart." I met A.W. through an online writers' community, and when I saw the cover to Nefertiti's Heart, I just knew I had to have her on the BRoP - isn't it gorgeous (yes, I freely admit I am addicted to pretty book covers!). And her author photo is totally epic as well - I love that dress!
Interview with E.B. Black

An Interview with Author E.B. Black
Today, I am super thrilled to bring you an interview with fantasy romance author, E.B. Black, who is here to talk about her debut novel, "Medusa's Desire," a retelling of the Greek myth of Medusa (I so love fairy tale and myth retellings!). I met E.B. through an online writers' community that we both belong to, and she was a fantastic early supporter of Hereafter when it first came out. If I'm not mistaken (correct me if I'm wrong E.B.!), she designed her book's cover herself - isn't it gorgeous?!
Interview with S.J. Drum

An Interview with Author S.J. Drum
Today, I am super thrilled to bring you an interview with fellow Eternal Press author S.J. Drum, who is here to talk about her latest book, "Caged in Myth." S.J. and I are "book-baby sisters"--we both released books at the same time from the same publisher (Surprisingly Supernatural came out at the same time as Hereafter), so we got to know each other as we navigated the release-date waters. S.J. is super nice, and I hope you all say hello to her! Oh, and did I mention Caged in Myth is only $0.99 right now?
Interview with Kate Evangelista
The Blog Ring of Power Presents...
An Interview with Author Kate Evangelista
Today, I am super thrilled to bring you an interview with young/new adult fantasy writer Kate Evangelista, who needs no introduction. I had been seeing Kate's book, Taste, poppping up everywhere in the book-blogger blogosphere for some time and wanted to meet her. When a friend and fellow author hosted a guest post from Kate on her blog, I immediately asked my friend for an introduction and ta da! Kate turned out to be wonderfully friendly and approachable, and I'm over-joyed to be able to host this interview with her today! BTW, did I mention how much I love these book covers?!
Interview with Beth Barany
The Blog Ring of Power Presents...
An Interview with Author Beth Barany
Today, young adult fantasy writer Beth Barany stopped by, courtesy of BRoP member Sandra Ulbrich Almazan, to tell us a bit her creative process and her Five Kingdoms Series. Beth is a fellow member of Broad Universe, and I'm thrilled for this opportunty to hear more about her and her work.
Interview with Kristi Petersen Schoonover
The Blog Ring of Power Presents...
An Interview with Author Kristi Petersen Schoonover
I am so thrilled to have dark horror writer Kristi Petersen Schoonover with us today. I met Kristi through Broad Universe, where it turns out she's a fellow New Englander, and started following her blog, where she cracked me up with her "52 Weeks of Spam" feature, in which she posted (and mocked) spam that she had received. It's hilarious. We quickly became friends, and if the weather ever cooperates, we'll be doing our first panel together soon. Today, Kristi stopped by to share a little about herself and talk about her latest release, Bad Apple.
